Books, Balls, and Blocks is a free, family-friendly event designed to support early childhood development. Geared toward children from birth to age five, the event offers developmental screenings in a fun and engaging environment. While kids explore interactive games and activities at various stations, parents gain valuable insights into how these experiences promote healthy growth and learning. It’s a day of discovery, education, and excitement for the whole family!
Also, while the children are playing, parents complete the Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ-3). The ASQ-3 is reliable, valid, and easy to use. The ASQ-3 is the recommended tool to screen young children for developmental delays.
On site, there will be professionals to score the ASQ-3 who will then share the results with the parents to learn if his or her child’s development
