What Are ComfortCALLS?

Wiregrass 211 ComfortCALLS is a FREE telephone reassurance program designed to check on the well-being of individuals who may need a little extra support.

  • Seniors age 60 and older
  • Homebound or disabled individuals
  • Isolated family caregivers (age 18+)

A friendly call provides comfort, connection, and peace of mind for participants and their loved ones.

How ComfortCALLS Work

  • Scheduled check-in calls from trained Wiregrass 211 staff
  • Focus on well-being, safety, and social connection
  • Opportunity to identify needs or concerns
  • Non-emergency support that complements existing services

Houston, Henry, Geneva, Dale, Coffee, Covington, and Barbour counties

Program Eligibility

  • Must be able to understand and speak English
  • Enrollment based on program capacity and staffing availability
