What Are ComfortCALLS?
Wiregrass 211 ComfortCALLS is a FREE telephone reassurance program designed to check on the well-being of individuals who may need a little extra support.
- Seniors age 60 and older
- Homebound or disabled individuals
- Isolated family caregivers (age 18+)
A friendly call provides comfort, connection, and peace of mind for participants and their loved ones.
How ComfortCALLS Work
- Scheduled check-in calls from trained Wiregrass 211 staff
- Focus on well-being, safety, and social connection
- Opportunity to identify needs or concerns
- Non-emergency support that complements existing services

Houston, Henry, Geneva, Dale, Coffee, Covington, and Barbour counties
Program Eligibility
- Must be able to understand and speak English
- Enrollment based on program capacity and staffing availability
